I have been looking for the perfect bottle tree for my yard. I found this one at the Flower Festival at Crystal Springs, MS last week. The man in the background did not come with it!, neither did the bottles. I will wait until spring to find the perfect spot in my yard for it. Until then I will be busy drinking wine in just the perfect bottles for my new bottle tree. CHEERS!!!!

Cool weather makes me think Chocolate! I am going out of town Friday night and I was trying to get ahead for Sunday dinner. I looked over my recipes and found this great trifle dish "Death by Chocolate"! It is actually lowfat! Try it sometime.
Mix dry devil's food cake mix with 1 can of pumpkin and 1/4 c. of water for 2 minutes. Spread in a 13 by 9 pan that has been greased and floured. Bake for 30 minutes at 325 degrees and cool. Prepare 1 large box of instant chocolate pudding with 4 cups of milk. Layer crumbled cake, pudding, lowfat cool whip and repeat ending with cool whip on top. Orange sprinkles would be good for Halloween. Chill and enjoy! I made my cake and froze it so I can put the trifle together on Saturday night.

Technology!! It can be so much fun until it doesn't work. We had DISH installed yesterday. A rain storm today and no signal!! Support said that happens sometimes! Fortunately, it did come back after about 30 minutes. Was there anything happening in the world because I missed the national news? Then. . . my Iphone started freezing up. It has finally decided to come back to life!! I believe I will read a book or write a letter with pen and paper!!

Just returned from a very restful long weekend at the Alabama coast. We stayed at a condo in Plantation Shores, Gulf Shores. One of our best meals was at Flippers at the Bear Marina in Orange Beach. We sat on the patio and enjoyed wonderful grilled shrimp while watching the birds, herons and gulls watch us.
